We are a small, quiet family resort of five beautiful, waterfront, self-catering cottages that are smoke-free and surrounded by superb lake scenery with nature's wildlife. We have a wonderful, safe sandy beach for swimming. Then when evening falls cast your eyes on the most amazing sunsets that are breathtaking as the sun goes down across the Lake. Lakefield is only 2 minutes by car or you can take a stroll into the village passing the famous Lakefield College School where you will find food stores, a great butcher's shop, fresh fruit and vegetable market, gift shops, restaurants, beer and liquor stores, local pub and a library with free Internet access. Don't forget to visit Lakefield's weekly flea market full of antiques, books, local crafts, collectables, parking and admission is free to attend and well worth a visit.
